Message from the Principal

For every beauty there is an eye somewhere to see it.

For every truth there is an ear somewhere to hear it.

For every love there is a heart somewhere to receive it.

Education without character, Science without humanity, Commerce without morality, Politics without principle, Human existence without discipline, Friendship without gratitude, Music without melody, Society without morality & justice, an Institution without rule and a Nation without law cannot be of benefit to the people. Education is a crutch with which the foolish attack the wise to prove that they are not idiots.

The essential thing is not knowledge, but character. Character is the most precious gift of education unless knowledge is transformed into wisdom. "The seat of knowledge is in the head, of wisdom, in the heart", (William Hazlitt). The end of knowledge is wisdom and the end of wisdom is freedom. "Only the educated are free". (Epictetus) "The educated differ from the uneducated as much as the livings differ from the dead." (Aristotle) "A loving heart is the truest wisdom" (Charles Dickens) which is expressed in character.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. The man who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones, Sow an act, and you reap a habit; sow a habit, and you reap a character; sow a character, and you reap a destiny. "We cannot do great things on this Earth, only small things with great love." (Mother Teresa). Vision without action is daydream. Action without vision is nightmare." Where there is no vision, the people perish.

Parents and teachers are the sculptors who have to mould the shape of the students for whom they are responsible. If parents and teachers set the right example, the students will automatically blossom into models of excellence and bring glory to the nation. If teachers themselves do not follow the normal ethics of truthfulness etc., how can they instill good habits and values in students? Teachers should not be bound by consideration of hours of work. When necessary, they should be prepared to stay on for hours to remove the doubts of students and help them to complete their assignments. If teachers play their roles properly and responsibly, the nation can be transformed into beautiful nation. For all the malpractices among students, if any both the parents and the teachers are to blame.

Human values cannot be learnt from lectures’ and books. Those who seek to impact to students must first practice them themselves and set an example. Among all professions, the teaching profession carries the greatest responsibility. Teachers have to mould the young of today, so that they will grow up as worthy citizens of tomorrow. Students have to cultivate gratitude, compassion and tolerance. Teachers open the door. But you must enter by yourself and help yourself by helping others and try not to become a man of success but a man of value.

I am not a teacher but a learner. I am always doing that which I cannot in order I may learn how to do it. In brief, I will say, "Knowledge is power," Which you can use to change the society to make it beautiful.

May God bless you!
